Friday, July 18, 2008 comments from Mike Minter regarding the crash at Devil's Bowl last night:

First, thank you for all the emails and phone calls this morning.

Yes, Kathryne was in a very dramatic crash last night in Dallas. I thought she was going to end up in the grand
stands. Thank god for a good catch fence.

Kathryne is A-OK her race car on the other hand was a total loss.

Shes fine. Just a little sore.

The #31 car's fuel pump came out of the back of the motor is what caused the crash.

The team would like to give a special thanks to Jeff Lawrence for allowing our team to invade his shop and
assist us at preparing her back up car. I can’t remember the last time I worked all night without sleep.

Hope to see a few of you in OK city tonight.

As I sit here in Bedford Texas pondering the Midwest trip of Kathryne I can’t help but bask in the glow of the
incredible determination she has shown as a seventeen year old lady on the road all by herself. I personally
would like to give a heart felt thank you to the Dover’s of Springfield Nebraska for all they have done to assist
Kathryne in her travels through the Midwest. She absolutely could not have done it without all their help.

Last weekend Kathryne raced at the home of the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame in Knoxville Iowa. She met
the Director of the Hall of Fame and he has asked to buy the very 1st of Kathryne’s Die cast race cars to place
in the collection there to forever symbolize the 1st ever die cast sprint car made for a woman. I personally
feel overwhelmed by this request.

I came home to Texas late Sunday and left Kathryne to fend for herself half a continent away. T.J. Giddings
father is extremely ill so he naturally had to be by his side. T.J. we pray everything works out the way god has
it planned for you and your family.

Kathryne has shown just how much she wants to be a professional sprint car driver on this swing through the
heartland of America. Most teenagers would have long thrown up their hands and given up. We are proud of
you. She has been able to log many miles without a team member, nor hauler driver she is familiar with
traveling with on the road. She raced basically single handily last night at Junction motor speedway in McCool
Junction Ne. A few nights before on Tuesday she raced with the help of Lauren and his son whom she had
never met until 3 hours before race time. Thanks Lauren. Tonight the little lady on the road continues to take
on the ultra competitive ASCoT National Touring guys at Huron, SD. and will remain in the Midwest the rest of
the week to continue the battle with the ASCoT National Touring contingency.

A special thanks to Kent and Marge Watson of Lincoln Ne for your generosity last night at McCool. Without the
continued support of Kathrynes sponsors, Friends, Family, Fellow competitors, and individuals like the
Watsons Kathryne would not be able to live out her dreams of becoming the next great traveling female racer
in America.

Kathryne is currently setting in the twelfth spot in the National ASCoT rankings which include 268 men and 3
women contestants that have competed in 2008 at the National level. She is second in actual races run and is
locked in a tough battle for Rookie of the year with at least 5 men, most of which have not missed a race. Six
of the eleven men in front of Kathryne have won a National Championship in a sprint car and most have been
racing longer than she has been alive. She has raced in 8 states and over 20 different tracks so far in 2008.
Kathryne will be rejoined by the team on Thursday as we head to Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, this is
the track her crew chief helped build many years ago and then on to the Lake of The Ozarks Speedway
Saturday before returning home on Sunday.

It was an interesting trip to Knoxville and then on to Eagle raceway in Nebraska aka the land of the corn. We
had a tough time at the home of the nationals on Friday night. Kathryne got off to a good start by hot lapping
in the top of the 53 car field. When she came in to the pit stall she was complaining of fuel on her left leg. We
searched for the area it was coming from and concluded it must be leaking at the high speed, so off it came
and a new one went on for the heat race. We were wrong, the fitting going into the injection system was the
real problem. We are running push lock hose and it blew the hose off almost immediately after the start of the
heat. The good news was that the methanol did not ignite and the car quit running almost immediately.

Does anyone know of a hose manufacture who would like to get involved with the only female on a national
touring sprint car series? We really need some help with fuel lines and fittings.

We started 10th or twelfth in the B main and passed a few cars but finished 6th which left us short of the main
event.

We had the Concrete Crushing Co. “brass” with us in our pits on Friday night and it was great to have them
there. The Concrete Crushing Co. has supported Kathryne for several years and we are very pleased to have
them behind her. Without their support and the support of the rest of the people that help her she could not
continue to race at this level. Thank you.

Kathryne was a big hit at Eagle on Saturday night. I lost count of the kids that came by for an autograph and T-
shirts. At one point I think there must have been 25-30 people in line for an autograph. One man and woman
even offered to buy us a tire to race at Junction Motor speedway. I said we were not sure if we could, but now
I am. Kathryne will be there Friday night.

Kathryne is on the road by herself this week and I will be rejoining her for the Saturday night race before
returning home next Sunday. So, good luck Kathryne.

She is racing at I-90 speedway in South Dakota on Tuesday night with the ASCoT national traveling series and
then back to Nebraska to run a Midwest ASCS race at the invitation of the Junction City track and many fans
from Eagle raceway before returning back to South Dakotas State Fair Grounds for another national ASCoT
event Saturday night.

We hope to see a few of you on this trip. Please stop by the trailer and say hello.

April 21, 2008

It has been an incredible week with us at KMR. We traveled to Wheatland Mo to visit Lucas Oil Speedway
which is better known as “The Diamond of Dirt Tracks.”

The night saw Kathryne starting 4th in our heat race with the 11x of Garry Lee Maier on the pole and the 29 of
Travis Rilat on the outside of the front row.

Kathryne moved up quickly to third and was hanging on the tail tank of the second place car lap after lap. With
the track locked down I didn’t think she had a chance, at the checker flag the 11x and 29 tangled in turn four
and Kathryne drove underneath both of them and raced to the finish line only to be showed the yellow
instead of the checkered flag.

As the field was reset with Kathryne on the point and some of the winnings’ drivers in sprint car history in tow
I was a little nervous as to the possible out come of the green, white, checkered finish to come.

In true, veteran style, Kathryne waited till she was practically out of turn four to pick up the throttle and rocket
by the cone, coming out of the second turn on the final lap she had a three car length lead and I thought
maybe just maybe, only to look up and see a car sitting in the middle of the apex in three and four.

Out came the yellow and another restart, this time however Kathryne caught them all sleeping when she
started in turn three and had a comfortable lead going into one and ran away with it to post her first ever
ASCoT national heat race victory.

As exciting as it was it was short lived, as a decision to change the left rear tire spelled disaster for the
handling in the feature, but the talented little lady brought the car home in one piece and was still on the
track racing for position and the end.

This weekend look for the team to run two ASCoT national events. Paris Motor Speedway in Paris Texas on
Friday and then on Saturday we travel to the home of the Short Track Nationals in Little Rock Ar. And take on
the ever tricky I-30 Speedway. Hope to see some of you at the track soon.

Week of April 7, 2008

Well the decision to stay at Cowtown and test paid off Saturday night. Kathryne and 40 something other ASCS
Sooner region competitors rolled into the high banked Cowtown speedway.

KATHRYNE WON THE SIXED HEAT RACE, but when there are that many cars and that much competition things
aren’t always as great as they seem. Kathryne won the heat race but still fell short of the top eight in passing
points to redraw for the front line up…. How is that possible?

Kathryne started the feature from the tenth spot and quickly moved up to sixed in only two laps. I was
personally thinking we really had something here and then the thing all of us racer worry about occurred.
Kathryne made contact with another car and had a head on full speed collision with a safety barrier. I will tell
you that when I arrived at the car and saw Kathryne hanging from the belts I feared the worse, but after
several minutes she came to and got her wits about herself and crawled out of the car under her own power.

Her new chassis looks to be scrap as well as the front end and numerous other parts but Kathryne is fine and
ready to go to Oklahoma City and Tulsa this weekend. We have a long week ahead of us as we will prepare the
back up car for service and head into the majority of the schedule with out a backup. Hopefully we can get
one of her older chassis repaired and put together before we need one.

Thank you to all the well wishers and we really appreciate what each and every one of you do to help her
fulfill her dreams.

Week of March 30th

It has been an incredible week with us at KMR. Kathryne was inducted into the National Honor Society on
Friday night and all of us at KMR could not be happier or any more proud of her. Most of us feel extremely
blessed to be a part of a team that has such an amazing driver but the added benefits of a leader that excels
scholastically and participates so freely with in the community keeps us all motivated to be a better team as
well as be better people ourselves.

With the threat of storms and a possible wash out we chose to take advantage of the opportunity to prep test
for next weeks ASCS Sooner race at Cowtown Speedway  instead of making the trip to LA for the Gulf South
event.

The team arrived early and took some publicity shots of Kathryne in her new 2008 fire suit that was provide by
ROYAL PURPLE. The suit was manufacture by Simpson and I must say they did an incredible job at making it
look like it was painted on. Thank you Tina and Team Simpson for the early delivery and Royal Purple for the
suit.

The night saw Kathryne starting 4th in our heat race with the 7m on the pole Kathryne moved up quickly to
third and was hanging on the tail tank of the second place car lap after lap. With the track locked down I didn’t
think she had a chance, at the checker flag they were side by side but she comes up a nose wing short.
Kathryne started from the fourth row in the feature and what a feature it would be. 22 cars filled the rocket
fast speedway with more passing than I have ever seen in a sprint car race at Cowtown.  I am not sure how
many cars we passed and went back and forth with but I do know it was a bunch. As the checkered flag was
waiving I thought we were I 5th but we wound up 6th. I must say it was an exciting race and Kathryne did a
heck of a job in lap traffic.

We would like to say a special thanks to Ty Howerton and the whole Howerton family at Southwest
Development Custom Homes of Irving Texas for rejoining us as the provider of Diesel for KMR’s team hauler
during the 2008 season. Southwest Development Custom Homes commitment to quality and customer
satisfaction makes building and buying a dream home easier than ever. The extra-mile differences are
evident in each home they build. Their philosophy is to exceed the customer’s expectations by providing
more value for their homebuilding dollar. From unique faux finishes, creative gourmet kitchens, luxurious
baths and oversized living areas Southwest Development utilizes a holistic approach that leads to beautiful
homes and delighted customers.

March 3, 2008

Houston Raceway Park's Inaugural Gulf Coast Nationals fielded an impressive field of 35 cars on Saturday
night. In the field there were several past National Champion sprint car racers and 7 current national touring
partiapants as well as numerous state champions.

As the luck of the draw would have it, Kathryne started on the last row of the last heat race which contained
two previous national champions and two additional ASCS regional champions. Probably the worst starting
position possible.  Kathryne battled to finish a respectable 6th place, which in turn put her in the B main. The
KMR team gave the car a quick once over and hustled to make the start of the qualifier. A tough battle in the
B main gave Kathryne a start in the Eleventh row of the A feature. In the main event we found the track to be
as fast as HRP has ever been but from the 21st starting spot the leaders seemed to have half the track
behind them before Kathryne’s row could even crack the throttle. It was one of the most thrilling races we
have ever seen and after an early red flag pit stop and an incredible set up call to change the left rear tire
from KMR’s crew chief Sean “SUUP” McClelland and, consequently restarting from the rear of the field, the
outlook appeared rather grim, however when the checkers flew to the 30 lap action packed feature Kathryne
was still on the lead lap with a top ten finish. GREAT JOB KATHRYNE AND SEAN.

The evening found Kathryne starting in the second row of the first heat race. A strong finish of forth put her
on the pole of one of the twin B mains and she was able to advance to the main event from there with a
runner up finish to 6 time national champion Garry Lee Meir. Starting the feature from the ninth row Kathryne
was able to survive a massive early wreck to bring home the Keene Heavy Equipment #13 in 11th spot.

Kathryne advance 19 spots in the two mains this weekend and the team is really excited about the race this
weekend at Cowtown Speedway in Fort Worth.

We would like to take a few seconds and welcome a new addition to the team in Bob Baker.  Bob was the
director of marketing for the World of Outlaws for over a decade with Ted Johnson at the reigns. KMR is
looking forward to working with Bob and his outstanding marketing skills at securing primary corporate
sponsorships and endorsement. If you believe you know of a potential lead for Bob you may contact him by
email at bakerbob2323@yahoo.com . We would also like to welcome back Sean McClelland to the team. Sean
communicates incredibly well with Kathryne and he has been missed while he was out on the road with the
Outlaws the past month. Welcome home Sean.

Next Race is a tune up at Cowtown Speedway in preparation for the ASCoT national event at the world famous
Devils Bowl in Mesquite Texas on March 14th & 15th.

March 2, 2008

This was suppose to be the evening that Kathryne was inducted into the 2008 National Honor Society, but as
fate would have it and with the flu bug running rampant the ceremony was cancelled, so she was off to race at
Golden Triangle Raceway Park in Beaumont Texas. Congratulation on the tremendous academic
accomplishment Kathryne, hopefully the date scheduled for the ceremony will not be on a Friday.

2/1/08:

Hello everyone,

This is the first  2008 weekly team update at KMR.

The team had a great trip to sunny Florida for the ASCoT $10,000.00 to win Ronald Laney Memorial this past
week. Kathryne accomplished 4 of the 5 goals we had set for the week so the team feels like it was a
successful start to a promising ’08 schedule. As usual, Kathryne was the most sought after racer in the pits
with several TV interviews and numerous on air interviews with several internet broadcast organizations. At
one point Saturday evening the team had seven photographers in the pit area at one time taking shots as
Kathryne prepared for hot laps. Kathryne also had the honor of doing the introduction of the evening for local
TV station on Friday and Saturday as well.

The following link is a webpage that talks about the youth movement in NASCAR. We feel very proud that they
would include Kathryne with the likes of Jimmie Johnson, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jeff Gordon, Kenny Wallace, and
the list goes on and on.  She is the only name on the page that is not a “household name.” If you have a few
minutes follow the link and enjoy. Also, the photo in the upper right hand corner of the page is Kathryne in
her car at East Bay speedway in Florida.

The team would like to welcome several new marketing partners to our ASCoT Rookie of the year candidate’s
team. In no particular order

Patrick Burris with Royal purple is a welcome addition. Royal Purple manufactures high performance
lubricants for most automotive, industrial, marine, motorcycle and racing applications. Multiple independent
university and industry tests prove Royal Purple outperforms leading synthetic and conventional lubricants
for unsurpassed performance and protection. We look forward to a long relationship with RP and Patrick.

Bob Harris with K&N Engineering is also joining us this year. K&N Engineering, of Riverside, California, is the
inventor and leading innovator of reusable cotton gauze filter technology for automotive applications. From
humble beginnings as a family run business over 35 years ago, K&N Engineering, now a truly global company
with offices in the U.K. and the Netherlands, continues to exist as a family owned business with an enthusiast
mindset and a direct connection with motor sports that carries over throughout all levels of management and
manufacturing. Welcome aboard Bob.

Triple X race products.  At TripleX Race Co, they don't just build race car parts.  They crash too.  They know
how expensive it is to wreck a Sprint Car.  Why?  Cause they’ve done it recently, and unfortunately, way too
much.  Why do you care?  You probably don't.  But you do know why they offer top quality race car parts at an
affordable price. Although we don’t race a Triple X chassis yet, we do have numerous bolt on components
and would like to welcome them aboard our team.

KMR would also send a special thank you to Dave Reedy with Penske shocks. Located in Reading,
Pennsylvania, Penske Racing Shocks has been serving the racing industry for over a decade. Using the
technology first developed for Indy Car, Penske Racing Shocks engineers have designed shock absorbers
for all forms of racing. Every shock is built for quality, simplicity, repeatability, and high performance. All of
their racing shocks are assembled to your specifications. Although Kathryne is not currently one of there
team drivers Dave took time out of his hectic race weekend working with Penske teams to let Kathryne run a
set of their shocks and to assist in adjusting the car. Dave your time is appreciated and KMR hopes to work
with you in the future.

I am sorry to announce that KMR will not be attending the event in Loxley Al this weekend. We had intended it
to be a tune up session for the Gulf Coast Nationals in a few weeks. However, on the return trip from Florida
we acquired some structural damage to the hauler that was undetected until late last night. The hauler will be
repaired Friday, but it will not be ready in time to make the Loxley show. We are currently making
arraignments for alternative transportation should a similar situation arise in the future. Your ideas and
support are always welcome to all of us at KMR.

Your feedback to this email is greatly appreciated as this will determine how the weekly updates are
distributed.

Thank you,

Mike Minter
