Sorry I haven't updated in a while! With school starting and everything I have
been a little busy!
On Friday night we were scheduled to race in Beaumont, Tx at one of my favorite
tracks Motorama. Unfortunately we got rained out. I really hope to race there
soon!
Last night we raced at Houston Raceway Park. Which was really exciting to me.
The last time we were scheduled to race there and didn't get rained out my car
broke and i missed my heat, and missed the qualifying position in the b by one.
But last night we got to race and I was really pumped!
We had "Slim Jim" working on the car and it was really hooked up.
We started 3rd row inside in my heat, and was running 4th and going for the pass
for 3rd when we went up too high coming out of 2 and the right side of my car
hit the wall. It wasn't that hard, but in the exact wrong spot, and it caused me
to have a flat.
We started in the back of the b main (4th row inside), they took 6 of the 7 cars
that started the B. After a few laps we climbed into the 4th position where we
finished the race. This placed us 2nd to last row in the A Feature. On our
starts the Goodyear Eagles were great, they really "grabbed" the track and took
off at exactly the right time! In the end we finished 13th.
After the races we met some great fans and had a great time talking with
everyone.
This upcoming weekend we will be racing at Cowtown Speedway in Fort Worth, Tx.
We are really looking forward to seeing everyone there and are hoping for
another great night.
I would like to give a special thanks to Keene Heavy Equipment and The Concrete
Crushing Company for all they do for us, and for all of the support they showed
this weekend in Houston.
