This weekend was the beginning of SPEED WEEK 2008!
On Friday night we raced in Texarkana, Arkansas. We were so excited to finally have our motor back, and
we were ready for a good run!
We had a great heat, and finished 4th which placed us starting 6th row outside of the A Main. The track
was SUPER SLICK and drivers were spinning out left and right!
Fortunately enough we missed all of the wrecks, we ended the night with a 16th place finish, all four tire,
and both wings! Altogether it was a great night.
On Saturday night we ran in Little Rock, Arkansas. This has always been a track that I have struggles with,
but we went into the night confident, and ready to rock!!
In our heat race we had a great starting spot; 2nd row outside. But on the first lap we got together with
another car, which broke our shock bolt. This caused our shock to not work, and made the car very
unstable. We stayed out in the heat, in hopes of a car dropping out and moving us up in the B main.
We started last row of the B, and passes a few cars, but got stuck playing follow the leader at the
bottom...and didn't make it up to 6th place to transfer. Overall we had a great night of racing, and we
learned a lot.
Now we are on our way to Sapulpa, Oklahoma for our 3rd race of Speed Week.We have never been to this
track, but have heard lots of great things, and we are looking forward to a great finish. Below are some
pictures from the races in Missouri last week, and also from a promotional event that I did at DUKE'S.
