We raced in Sedalia, Missouri with ASCoT on a big 1/2 mile track.
We started pole in the 5th heat, with national champion Gary Wright starting
right behind us, which was instantly a clue that this race was going to be quite
a challenge. We ran third until the last lap when the 14 car passed us. This put
us starting 2nd row in the 2nd B main. By the time I found the correct groove to
run, the cars were already so far spread out that I couldn't get a good enough
run on anyone to pass. We ended up finishing 6th in the B, and did not make the
A.

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!!!
We went to California, Missouri for another ASCoT race.
The only difference being, this time we were on a small, bullring track unlike
any I had ever seen before.
This track was quite a learning experience, trying to figure out where to run
was definitely a challenge. But once I figured out how to go in, and stay on the
'cushion' I got much faster. We wound up finishing 7th in the heat and 7th in
the B.
This weekend we plan on racing the re-scheduled ASCS Sooner Series race at
hometrack Cowtown Speedway in Kennedale, Texas.
Hopefully the rain will go and stay away and make that possible!
